Snowing All Day...Anyone else in Wisconsin?

I just have to vent......it has been snowing all day and I am just so tired of it. I can't wait to leave on April 30th for WDW. Any other fellow DIS members from Wisconsin? I am from Ozaukee County......
Please.....can anyone sprinkle some pixie dust this way???

I'm from Wisconsin I know what ya mean, it's like the winter that just won't go away! My daughter had prom tonight, the girls were half frozen in their dresses!

I'm in Wisconsin and sick of the snow too. I'm beginning to wonder if there will be a spring or summer this year or if we're going to skip right over them.

We're right there with you DisneyFan (we are Milwaukee County). We don't head to WDW until late October - so we are just hoping for spring and summer eventually. Keep reading the DisBoards and dreaming!

Not in Wisconsin--I'm in CT and we actually had a nice day today but I gotta say that winter has lasted way too long this year. Doesn't it seem like that? We leave for the warm sunny beautiful Florida on Monday . This past month when the weather has been so cold and gross, I would look at the Florida weather and say "in 3 weeks we'll be in the warm". It really helped get me through the bad weather. Just think, in 18 days, you'll be wearing shorts, swimming, and walking in the sunshine at WDW. I definitely know how you're feeling--these past few weeks have seemed very long. Hope you have a great trip

Not in WI but MN and we have had snow since Thursday evening. Fortunately, the bulk of it missed us as some areas got two feet. We are expecting 70's next week, I will believe it when I see it.

Our next trip to Disney isn't until Feb. 2009.

I hear you! We had rain this morning (got a nice lake going in my back yard) and now we have snow flurries. It's supposed to be in the 60's by Thursday.

I am in Madison. We have had snow off and on today, but nothing sticking. I am so ready to take the plastic off the windows and open up the house. Looks like it might be another couple of weeks

After the record snowfall of this season, I am so ready for warm weather. Maybe that is why I have WDW fever so bad. Can't go until next year

I'm in Nebraska! And it snowed all day and is still snowing! This has been the LONGEST winter! We are so looking forward to our May trip to the World!

I'm from Wisconsin too... Waukesha county! I agree, I am soooo sick of the snow and yucky weather. My husband and I are sooo sick of it that we are actually considering moving down south! Don't know if we will be brave enough to actually do it since all family is here, but we'll see. We leave for Disney in less than two weeks, and I can't wait!!!!!! Let's just hope we can all get there with all of the airline strikes and bankruptcies. That's kind of scaring me!

Wow! I feel sorry for all of you poor people still stuck in the snow! We are having an unseasonably warm weekend here in the San Francisco Bay Area. Today it was 85 and tomorrow is expected to be just a few degrees cooler. On Monday, it should be back to normal for this time of year (high 60s - low 70s). Of course, we pay for our beautiful weather with our ridiculous housing prices! Here's wishing all of your WDW trips come sooner than later!

Another Minnesotan checking in. We had a BLIZZARD yesterday (Friday April 11)! What's up with that??

We are pretty far up north so we expect our snow to be around longer than most, but come on.....it was almost gone! Now we have another foot on the ground. The only good that came out of it was that school was cancelled (I'm a teacher) as was just about everything else!

I'm another that's not going until October. There better not be snow then that delays my trip!

Wisconsin here too! I thought we might be out of winter but today just tops it!!

Count yourself lucky if you just got snow. My house was pelted with ice for 3 hours.
My front door was frozen shut and I couldn't get out of my house for awhile.

I started the day brushing snow off the car in Green Bay...btw, for out of State-ers, the pronunciation is Green BAY, not GREEN Bay, thank you very much...and ended up in Janesville to welcome the snowflakes.

My countdown clock says 68 days...boy, does that seem like forever! By the time we get home Wisconsin should be celebrating it's day of summer.
