When we passed through security there was a HUGE trashcan full of beverage bottles, a couple of snow globes and several of those cute kids cups with the liquid in the sides. (There was also a lady in front of us who had to toss out all of her full size hair products. - lots of people were complaining about this very large family who obviously were not familiar with the rules and routines of security. Felt really bad for them.)
Anyway, my mom and I did talk about we wondered what happens to all that stuff. Obviously it heads to a dumpster, but I wonder if anyone goes through it.
