I think you'll have a great time. I'd love to spend 5 days skiing Utah over the holidays!
Didn't realize at the time how spoiled I was skiing just about every weekend growing up.
Like a lot of local kids, I learned to ski just up the road at Alta and love to ski there, and at Brighton, and at Solitude... you get the idea.
Like Hydster said, I'd probably stay at Park City too - but sounds like that's not what you're looking for.
As others have said, Snowbird is definitely not a beginners resort - but it sounds like you're OK with that. I hope you sneak in a quick trip report for us when you get back. I'd love to hear about it.
Here's wishing you lots of snow and plenty of that amazing Utah powder - can't beat it!
