Snow yesterday, FL tomorrow!

Yesterday I saw snow again on my lunch break. We did have a warm day last week, though. I think summer was on a Monday this year. I have gotten my winter coat back out, since it has been so cold again. HOWEVER, tomorrow we are going to FLORIDA!! We will be celebrating my birthday at VWL, which we bought sight unseen. I really enjoyed reading the recent VWL posts -- it makes going to work today (in my winter coat) much easier!

As a fellow Minnesotan, I can sympathize with you -- wearing winter coats and having the heat on is not my idea of Spring!! Lucky you - you're out of here for a few days.

I'll be eagerly awaiting to hear how you liked VWL. I also bought sight unseen and will be going in October.

We are from New England, in the mountains - not on the coast and I can empathize. I played May golf last Friday in 30 mile an hour winds with flurries. I really like “going home” in the winter, when we northerners are sitting by a DVC pool and loving every minute of it and the poor CMs are wearing sweatshirts, jackets and long pants. Enjoy the warmth and have a great trip.
OBTW - After I retire, I want to move there and be chilled when the temp hits the low seventies
