Well tonight I will be thinking of you I will be rocking out my KU santa hat at our Teen's Christmas Party...I'm going to take pictures tonight and then I'm going to decorate parts of my house and do an update on my Christmas things LOL!!!!

We did the ballet today. The kids loved it! They sat so quietly, so very well behaved! I had teacher goose bumps they were so sweet!

Very nice. I'd love to do that with our kids here. We are only allowed limited field trips at certain costs to certain places, so we don't get to do the really exciting things.

it does look like we might be in for some nice weather.
I was counting on cooler weather, but if it's in the 80s during the day I think I'd better toss in some capri pants.

Tell Mr. Sunshine to keep it good through the beginning of the year.

Although we might not know how long our trip is going to be.

The Goldendoodle has a name, it's Scooter, but I think he looks like a Chester....
He is 3 years old and the son that wanted him so badly has gotten tired of taking care of him. Besides, they just aren't dog people. He's really a cute dog, much bigger than our other 2. We have a Boston and a Chihuahua!

We could really see the effects of budget cuts at the Nutcracker yesterday. It is usually full. This year half of the concert hall was empty.

I have a question for all the teachers... what do I get my kids teachers for christmas?

I'm never sure what to do. normally it's a box of chocolates and some sort of 'teacher" pen and paper. but I've realized they must get alot of the same thing.

What do you like to get or find helpfull?

Candy is always a good thing!
We go out to lunch everyday, so a gift card to one of the fast food joints around here is appreciated.
Also a gift certificate to a teacher supply store is great. I spend a lot of my own money on classroom supplies.

Baylor's teacher last year is a Disney nut, so we got her a gift certificate to disneyshopping.com!

Gosh, it's hard to believe that here we are, our last weekend before the trip! I know that I need to buy a few snacks for the villa, and for the plane, but I think that's about it.
I really just need to get organized and check the forecast for the umpteenth time.
I called DVC today, the new contract is in the system, but they don't show the points yet...
I'll call back tomorrow.

You are in single digits already. That means we are in the teens and I am no where near ready! I will probably be buying clothes when we get down there because I don't have time to pack. Super busy this weekend, then work next week, Christmas in Kentucky with the in-laws next weekend, 3 days of work, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, pick up the van on the 26th, and head out early morning on the 27th!
