Has anyone been snow tubing at Bear Creek or Shawnee in PA? Any opinions of either or both? We're planning a tubing trip and trying to decide between the two. Thanks so much in advance!!!

I spend a lot of time at Bear Creek, but I've never done the tubing. I also haven't been to Shawnee. So I wasn't going to bother responding (not very helpful, am I?) but I see you haven't received any responses.

I can just say that I've seen Bear's tubing from the lifts. Looks like nice, long runs. There are two of them. It gets quite busy when the conditions are good, so you need to book your time in advance.

That's all I have! BC is a nice place overall, but boy, the past 2 years it's been a real struggle to get snow on the ground. Fingers crossed that next year is better for them.

I have never been tubing at Bear Creek, but I wanted to comment on how nice the resort is. I've been to parties there. Nice place. I have friends who ski there often too.

When we go tubing, which has been pretty rarely, we go to Blue Mtn.

Haven't been to Bear Creek tubing but have been to Shawnee and Camelback. We loved Shawnee. They had everything running smoothly, we got a lot of runs in for time period we were there. We'd def. go back again. At Camelback we felt like we were waiting in lines most of the time.
