Yes dreading it as I could do without flight delays or worse cancellations. Northeast supposed to be getting up to 8 inches of snow and that is where I am flying from.
I am hoping that we won't get any in the Midlands, however, I have chosen to work M, T, W this week then if it does snow it will be my days off and I won't have to drive in it! That's all that concerns me is the driving thing!
Sorry people but i love the snow
But i do understand people not wanting to drive in it
Mandy to have a heavy snow fall on Christmas day & boxing day would be fantastic

I agree except not too much on Christmas day as i'm working & don't want to be stranded at work after a night shift
I can't wait till we get the snow, always make for interesting day at work. Just as long as we are treated better then last year when majority of crew worked the 12+ hours solid without a break
I'm another who feels like we have only just got rid of last years snow. I used to love snow but last year it just went too far.
It is really cold here and at the moment we are having sleet so I guess the snow won't be far away
I hope it just doesn't turn to the compacted ice like it was last year... that was just dangerous, I fell over too many times
A little bit is nice, it just takes it too far!
Last time snow was threatened our local Tesco Extra store sold out of bread and milk due to panic buying.
I think we've all gained a healthier respect for the snow in the past few years - especially here in the south of England where we really aren't geared up to deal with it properly.
I love snow, but I have a 1 minute walk to work. Don't think I would like to drive in it. My DH has a 40 min drive to work (which in the winter months involves gritting and snow clearing) and he hates the snow. He works for his dad so can't get away with the 'snowed in' excuse.
We haven't had any snow here yet, maybe we've missed it. About 60 miles south of us, Aviemore area, have been getting a lot of snow and on the local radio they are telling of roads that have the snowgates closed and schools that are closing due to the heavy snow
