Snow in Florida!

Last night I was at Candlelight practice, freezing and we joked out how it could start snowing at any moment. Well tonight I'm watching our local news and they are reporting SNOW! Of course it's not staying long but it's falling. It's only 42 out right now in Central, Fl with winds at 22 gusting to 31, a bit nippy...lol.

I walked outside and swore I saw a flurry or three. but it was just a dang Noseeum. *grin* There are often flurries, but NEVER this early in the season.

I moved here to get AWAY from that stuff. I suppose a little flurry in 9 years is tolerable.

I haven't seen any snow... yet, but it sure is cold enough. I think the "snowbirds" brought it with them. It's time to start looking through the Cabela's catalogue for some parkas and insulated boots.

It's cold here now - supposed to be in the teens tonight - and we were hoping to get away from that kind of weather..

We're not asking for much.. Sunshine and 70 degrees would be fine..

It didn't snow here. I just read flurries were reported in 3 counties, Orange, Seminole and Volusia, Tuesday night. Orange county houses part of Disney World.

My friend Mike and I walked out of the Centroplex/TD Waterhouse last night around 10:45 and almost fell over when we saw the flurries. We're both from up north, and this being a family board I'm not allowed to repeat our comments.

I can't beleive how cold it's been! I might actually wear cashmere today!
