Okay, this is kind of a random question but maybe someone here can help. My daughter collects Disney snowglobes - the small size ones - and has one from every Disney trip or cruise we've been on. We never fly, but this summer we are going to Disneyland so we are flying.
I know you can't carry snowglobes on the plane, so my question is how to get one home?? Will Disney ship things, do I wrap it up really well and mail it home or do I take a chance on putting it in checked luggage? She will be sad if she can't get a snowglobe from our first Disneyland trip! Has anyone had any luck getting one home in the mail or in checked luggage?
Thanks!

One time, last minute, I bought an adorable Pooh snowglobe for one of my grandsons and without thinking put it in my purse. That did not go over well at LAX and they made me toss it!
Luckily it was just a small one, not worth a lot of money, so I didn't want to go to the trouble of having them go look for my luggage and putting it in there and then going back through security again.
