snow day!!!!

Well we don't have school today! What a bonus! We had 3-4 inches of snow but they didn't expect more than one and it is blowing. First the district I live in called off (so my daughters were off), then where I work (we had been on a delay)---we waited and waited for one more district, the one where my son's preschool is--finally they closed too! So here we all are! I'm working on my Christmas trees, since it is such a short season and I am not having Thanksgiving here.
We haven't had a snow day this early in YEARS!!! Last year it didn't even snow here until December 23!
Two weeks ago we had tornadoes!!!

That's amazing that you have such an early snow day. How many snow days does your district allow before you have to make them up at the end of the year?

Crazy weather! I woke up to find snow to my surprise and my DD's delight!

We get 5 days before we have to start making them up.

I used to love snow days! What kid doesn't? LOL! We don't get snow days here. DS wishes for hurricane days.
