Snow Day!

First one for us.

I'm going over to my friend's later to hang out and work on her iMovie for computer because it's about snow days. I'm helping her so I can just use the same movie clips when I make mine in May.

So right now I'm sitting here waiting for her mom to call back and say what time she's picking me up and then I'm off to get ready.


Has anybody else had a snow day yet? (or even today?)

It doesn't where I live too, it snows for like 5 minutes once last winter but normally it just rains here (last summer we had floods...cheerful haha).

Yep. I think we've had 4 total this year. I know we had 2-3 days off due to a huge freak snowstorm a few days before Halloween. The whole area that attends school was declared an emergency.

Not yet. But I can't wait until the first one.

I'm not going to be excited about delays because I'll just have to get up at the same time and spend that hour cleaning off my car and driving to school so I won't die.

first it snowed, then it freezing rained, and it rained on top of that. so you konw it's a mess, day.

If not Friday will be, if it snows during the day.

Nope, no snow days here. xD We had a couple hurricane days in the beginning of the school year if that counts. xD

I think our school is trying to not let us have a snow day this year. We've had 2 snow days for the past 6 years and we could've already had two this year, but unstead we have school even though the school right next to us has off....

Not yet, but we have a very slight chance of sleet tonight.

It won't stick (rarely does until January-ish), but it will still be cool. Having soup and Grilled Cheese for dinner tonight instead of what we were originally planning (pork chops) because of how cold it is outside at the moment (37 with a wind chill of 25 ).


I LOVE this time of year tho. No feeling is better than the one you get while walking into a warm house after standing in the cold for 15+ minutes. You may be numb, but who cares?! IT'S WINTER GUYS! T'IS THE SEASON TO BE JOLLY!

We had a water main break last week Monday, so we had no school.

I want it to snow more here. We had 2 inches, but it all melted today. ):
