Snow day!

Unfortunately, not for me! All the kids around here are off school today. Only about 2 inches so far, but they say by noon the winds will be blowing about 30 miles an hour, and we should be getting around a foot of snow. Days like these makes me wish I was a teacher!

Ice storm for us . . .UGH!! Actually, it wasn't that bad this morning. I made it in to the hospital about 20 mins late . . . I thought I would be an hour late!!

We live out in the country, and it was slushy, but fortunately, not frozen yet. Hope the road crews can get salt and sand on them before the temps start dropping.

We actually had THUNDER and LIGHTENING at 6 am today!!!

It's stopped for a while, but I don't know if we will be getting more snow later today . . .

Snow day here too!! It is SNOWING like crazy and get this, thundering!!! At first I thought it was the snow plow, but then my DH says to me, "Do you hear it thundering?" Weird!!

Most everyone around us had a snow day today. Ours decided to go and now they are sending them home early!

Here in North Texas is going to be 82 and ! The kids miss the snow but I DON'T!
