SNOW DAY! In Atlanta?????

First one of the season! For once I'm happy about it because I don't have to worry about Michael because I'm OFF!

I hope it's gone by the Saturday DIS MEET! Funny, Dan Murphy asked what was the weather was like in late February...two days ago it was 60 degrees! Today there's two inches of snow on my car! The old adage applies, if you don't like Atlanta's weather, wait a day, it'll change!

My son, who RARELY sees snow is thrilled! I had my full of it in the North!

Oh great!!!!! I'm ready to leave wintry Chicago (though it is a rather nice 31º now and supposed to be in the 50's this weekend) for sunny Atlanta in less than 48 hours, and you have to tell me you guys have 2 inches of snow????? I thought that was our old adage here in Chicago, must be eveybody's. Well, get the plows out, see you soon, Robin, looking forward to seeing you, Michael and all the other folks from Atlanta, and Towncrier from Ohio.

The kids in my apartment complex have been out giggling and lobbing snowballs at each other all morning. I'm loving it.

DD is convinced her snowdance actually worked. We haven't had snow for a few years. Jake, my golden, was very confused this morning when he went out. It only took a few minutes and he was right at home.

It's snowing in Atlanta!! Wow, that's unusual to have a freak snowstorm there when it's pretty sunny and mild here in the NYC area.

My DH's not happy about it at all. LOL! He has to fly out there Saturday for a week for a conference, and he is *not* looking forward to going into snow or cold weather, especially since he just bought 3 new short-sleeved shirts for the conference.

I hope Michael enjoys the snow while it lasts.

I'll bet it is all melted away before Dan arrives. Wish I could attend that meet.

Tell him not to worry, Tammi. The forecast for Saturday is sunny and in the high 50s- low 60s!

I'm waiting for the snow to stop falling here so I can take Jacob out in it for the first time ever. We have a good 2 inches. He's been sitting by the sliding glass door watching it fall all morning.

We had 1 inch in Chattanooga. Now it all melt. Our first snow fall the season. Just think it suppose to 48 tomorrow. The ever changing weather in the south. But will still be no school tomorrow because the Mountains are still have snow top the mountains. No school tomorrow.

Pete's in the office with me now but we will probably be leaving around 3:00 pm today since it is starting to sleet. He loves this snow and wants to go home and build a snowman. Robinrs, being from Detroit I can certainly identify with you.

I can't believe we have snow! My DH had to go to work, but his school is cancelled for tonight. I'm so excited about that, since it means he will get home around 8:00 tonight instead of 11:15.
