Snow at ROA vs. Castle/Hub

Has anyone experienced the snow after fireworks at both ROA and the Hub to compare the two? I have only been at the Hub and it was really magical. I am trying to decide if we should watch the first F! show and then fireworks at ROA or watch the fireworks at the Hub and then the 2nd F! show. The quality of snow in each area is really a deciding factor. I am a little worried about the experience at ROA. Any feedback would be helpful!

For me the most magical snow experience is in front of it’s a small world… I just love that…

I like Main Street as well and like LKing said there are different occasions when it snows in that area so you don’t depend on the fireworks time…

For ROA it really depends on the wind that night… on Saturday it was really nice and the snow was nicely distributed… it pretty much felt like it snowed there and if you looked towards Tom Sawyer island you looked through the falling snow… (definitely a completely different experience compared to IASW or mainstreet… more of an outdoor feeling and like it’s real…)

On Sunday there was some more wind and therefore the snow was more blown away from the viewing area… way less snow feeling…

I didn’t know that. Do they also dim the lights and play White Christmas? Any tips for maybe checking this out before the first F! show?
It’s the winter time enchantment at the castle… it’s quite nice and you should catch it… lights are dimmed…

I’d say end of mainstreet with a view of the castle and the houses…
Or closer to the castle…. Nice for photos but less snow in row one…

They definitely dim the lights, both on Main Street and on the castle. Then they re-light the castle and show projections on Main Street. I didn't pay attention to what song was playing.

We had a Fantasmic dining package seats on Saturday. We experienced the 7:30 snow on Main Street, picked up treats at Jolly Holiday, and made it with plenty of time to the first Fantasmic show. We enjoyed our treats while waiting for Fantasmic.

Two things to note.
1. Guests are led to their Fantasmic dining package seats around 7:45 pm. We didn't arrive until after people were already seated, so we were not in the first row. If this is important to you, I would watch snow from close to the Adventureland or Frontierland entrance and then walk quickly to Harbour Galley. There were plenty of people who arrived after us so it is definitely not necessary to be there at 7:45 pm if you don't care about sitting in the front.
2. We mobile ordered the Jolly Holiday treats much earlier in the day and chose timing so that we could pick them up after the snow. Mobile order was backed up so it was quite a wait. If I had to do it again, I would set the mobile order earlier so that I could pick up at the end of the 10 min window.
