Snow and ice outside, ants in the house??

How does this go? Don't the ants come out in the spring when it's warm?? Did I miss something??

Well, it was warm for a few days. They just want to be warm like you and me! Can you blame the poor guys for seeking shelter from this mess?!

We moved into the current house we are living in in early Dec, and about two weeks later a bunch of ants showed up. WE have been battleing them ever since. We never had ants in our other house. I thought the same thing, we live in Minnesota and it was a very cold winter, but did not stop the ants.
