2 snow days last week! 2 snow days and a holiday this week! I think it is going to be a long winter with 3 boys pirate:pirate:pirate: I'm counting down my days until our big trip and we are now at 199 days  Under 200:)

I can relate - 4 boys here! By the end of Christmas break, I decided that if there should never be an extended break if you can't throw your kids outside to burn off some energy.:rotfl: luckily, we haven't had any snow days here and all I think of is our trip in 65 days. Getting under 200 days is big. It will be here before you know it.:goodvibes

I live in MN. so I probably should be used to it but jeez it has snowed almost everyday for at least the past 30-40 days -
Sometimes just a nuisance snow but you still have to scrape or shovel and slop threw it -Just tired of snow
Oh and to top it off it was -22 below this morning when I went out -YUCK
I know this is better than a a couple feet of snow but ......YUCK
Thank-you for listening to my sad weather rant

Hmmm ... 70° across San Diego today (both coastal and mountain areas). Shaping up for a lovely weekend. Wish you were here! :)

Last weekend was mid-80s in the mountains. I was slightly bummed that it was too warm to ride my horse with his thick winter coat. Spent time bathing him instead. My husband laughed wondering what the other horses in the gelding paddock thought of the tootie-fruity piña-colada conditioner I used on my horse's mane and tail! My poor guy gets no respect as it is. ;-)

I'd rather have snow!

We had our 2nd snow day this week. At least it is looking like New Hampshire now! I'm keeping track to see how many days I have to make up this June. I'd rather deal with the snow than the hot and humid classroom!

Only 6 weeks till we say hello to the greenery.

Another teacher who just fought through a week with myself and DS1 sick and three snowstorms causing delays/closings this week. The MN poster would probably laugh - I don't think any storm was more than 4 inches.

Our family is 20 weeks away from leaving as of Thursday. :teacher::banana: Congrats on reaching 29 weeks, and a little advice --counting weeks seems to go so much faster than counting days! :rotfl2:

Funny enough I was born in duluth:) Mass is suppose to drop down to single digits just until it warms up for another storm on Wednesday, suppose to be over a foot but the totals are always changing so we never really now for sure. Fridays 8 inches started off as 1 to 3:confused3 However no matter how bad the blizzard is hockey is never canceled even if it is for 6 year old kids:confused3

I know how that go's -My DS Hockey player just graduated last year -
DH misses it -Me not really ,sitting in freezing cold places every weekend got a little old the last few years and all those volunteer things that where fun got not so fun after so many years -I miss seeing my hockey mom friends ,but we still get together and I still see the kids quite a bit -so I am really enjoying not planning life around hockey -(and my winter Disney trips)
Oh last night on the news (the one with Diane Sawyer) the scientist said this
weird weather is a global warming epiphenomena and could be the new norm :mad:yuck
I hope thats not true -
