Snorkelling equip. at CC

I know this may be a silly question to you...but does anyone know how they clean the snorkelling equipment that you can rent at Castaway Cay. Maybe I shouldn't be so trusting, but I would think that they are cleaned and sanitized very well before being rented to the next person.

I can't say for sure, but on the travel channel show on the disney cruise, they showed people dunking the fins and snorkel gear into a big tank full of some liquid. I would guess it was water & bleach. So at least according to that footage, yes they do disinfect them with something...

Maybe they use the same magical "spray" that they squirt into the bowling shoes??!?

Why don't you just buy your own, it is about the same price as renting a set at CC. My wife and I bought our sets at bassproshops.com for $29.99. It is the Body Glove brand -- silicone dry snorkel, nice fins and tempered glass lenses in the mask. I am very pleased with the quality. I just bought my 2 kids a set on ebay for $12.99. We plan on doing alot of snorkeling in several places, so this just made sense for us.
