I've done the snorkeling and the actual certified diver program called DiveQuest at the Living Seas. The snorkeling is actually called Aqua Sea tour. You can find out more here: at Debs All Ears Net web site. Go To EPCOT, then Tours and look for Aqua Seas.
It's a lot of fun and especially for those that are not certified divers. You get a wet suit, all equipment needed, locker, shower, etc. They take you through the crowd and up in the stairway where all the folks are looking out into the water through the glass. You get a saftey briefing and a life vest and actual scuba breathing equipment but you float on the surface totally and never go under at all. The water is quite cool but the wetsuit and floatation device helps to keep you warm.
The visibility is outstanding and you can see everything! The fish, sharks, turtles, the bottom, the people in the restaurant eating, the kids waving at you from behind the glass, etc. You are in the water only 30 minutes so it goes by quick. It's a great time and to be in there with all the fish and with people watching is loads of fun.
Of course doing DiveQuest (you have to have your diver certification card) is even better but Aqua Tours is a great start! Various discounts for AP holders, DVC, members, etc are available so check those out.
Have fun!
