Going to Aulani for the first time next month. I see there is a snorkeling reef, but mask rental is $25/day. do they have a "length of stay" rental option? or is it better if I just pick some up to bring?
We will have a car and plan to go to other places around the island. Are there other places to snorkel?

Rainbow reef- Snorkeling gear is included length-of-stay $45 for everything. It's a float only in a pool sized reef about 50'x30' with lifeguard there; capacity 30 at a time and rarely that busy.

It's cold and most swim there in short spurts 15min then come out.

You would only be able to use the snorkel gear provided by Rainbow Reef, at Rainbow Reef. However, you can bring your own snorkel gear to go snorkeling down at the lagoon or rent it for $25/day from Makiki Joe's Rental which is used only at Aulani and turned back in at end of day. If you do plan to go to other places to snorkel, you could ask if they have rentals or purchase or bring your own.
