We are on the 2/13 4-night Wonder cruise. I have read many, many posts regarding visits to Nassau. My DH and I have been there several times before and have enjoyed the beaches and walking around Atlantis. During this cruise, however, I would like to go snorkeling. Where is the best place to go? Are we better off going on a snorkeling shore excursion? We are very adventurous and have no problem venturing off on our own... :cool1:

We did the Blue Lagoon beach day. It was nice except it is about a 45 min. trip. This was our 1st snorkeling experience and we really liked it. We were very tired since we had done the land part of land/sea first. So we were ready to leave by 2. You could go back on the 4 ferry as well.

On our 2nd wonder trip, we did the Catamaran sail and reef snorkel. It was great. About a 20 min. trip, the snorkel was really beautiful. What I liked about this was that we were back around 1 for lunch.

Stuarts Cove offers some reasonably priced excellent trips that you can do on your own. They also offer transportation to and from the port for cruise ship passengers. I have used them several times now, and they are very good to work with.

Another vote for Stuart Cove's. Loved snorkeling above the reef sharks!
