We are trying to decide on a snorkeling excursion. We're kind of leaning toward the Doubloon or Captain Nautica's? We have ages 14 and up. Any suggestions?????:earsboy:

I vote for the Doubloon!

We've done it twice 7/2001 and 2/2004 (just went on it last week) and loved it both times!

The cove where you snorkel is protected from huge waves. The crew really accenuates the experience. They swim down with your underwater cameras to take pics of sea life and coral, feed the fish, take you to different areas of the cove in search of different things to see.

The music onboard the vessel is great -- a little Jimmy Buffet!

Check out their website at http://doubloon.com Our pics from last week aren't up yet but they will be within a few weeks.
All guests are photographed after snorkeling and are added to their online Party Pics gallery.

We saw a sea turtle, barracudas, groupers, parrotfish, tangs, sea urchins, starfish, and much, much more!

If you go with them, tell them that the Louisiana Mardi Gras crew from Baton Rouge and Thibodaux sent ya!
