Sorry cant find a actually answer...i know rainbow reef has length of stay,,,can you hold on to that gear and go elsewhere with it for the stay..or do you have to turn in after each swim??. Wondering if i need to purchase gear to go elsewhere or if we can use that gear...thanks

Was there with my family a few weeks ago. Purchased decent sets of snorkeling equipment at Costco in Kapolei for about $30, if you’re looking for a less expensive and more flexible option.

Thanks...we have gear,,but if i dont have to pack we wont. Of i get to use theirs anywhere thats a win win...since i know i still pay if i use my own.

I can’t say for sure but our friend said they are allowed to bring it to the lagoon. Her family did that on their stay.

I know if you purchase length of stay you get snorkel gear down at the beach to snorkel with. I am sure they don’t check to make you stay on property.

I think with the rainbow reef length of stay you just get new gear each time to enter (or at least that is what we did). Now having said this, I haven’t actually tried to keep to use in lagoon or elsewhere

Same experience here. I think they'd be concerned gear would go missing if they let it leave the reef area.
