Snorkel Equipment--Where to buy?

Who knows something about snorkel equipment? I'm only familiar with the very cheap kids type (walmart etc). What should I look for? I'd like to get two sets, one for my husband and I and one for the kids. Thanks

I've seen some good quality sets at Sports Authority . We purchase the sets we have thru West Marine and we've used them our past three cruises -- money well invested!

We're looking to purchase snorkel equipment for our next cruise. After using excursion equipment we decided to purchase our own. The equipment at Castaway Cay was definitely not worth the $25. My brother purchased some good equipment at http://www.diversdirect.com/ . HTH.

i also recommend diver's direct. The stuff is very reasonably priced, and they are good to order from. Things come to you quickly.

We are impressed with the sets we got at Costco's. Snorkel, mask and fins cost about $25. Very comfortable and we had no problems.....we snorkeled about 1 1/2 hours w/o a break!

I've heard there are good deals to be had on eBay. Figure out which brand you like and then check there...

bought fins and vest from dive shop,bought mask and snorkel from sports authority but one mask shattered in baggage,try looking for mask with plastic lens.

Anyone try to have what they order delivered either to their room at WDW or directly to the ship? It would be nice to minimize the time spent carrying the stuff...
