Hey fellow cruisers!
For those who know of who have done this... We're looking into a 4-4.5 hour snorkel excursion in St. Thomas. I don't have a specific time chosen as we are not PIF quite yet. The Skyride above the port intrigues me (despite my fear of heights) and I noticed DCL recently (?) added skyride tickets as an "excursion". Do you think it's possible to fit these both in one visit? Maybe snorkel excursion first then skyride? Looking for insight and/or your experience with doing 2 "excursions" in one port. Thanks! ^_^

If your ship berths at Havensight Pier, the skyride is a short walk (5 mins) away. You don't need to buy excursion tickets from DCL...when I was there April 2015 the price was the same from DCL and a walk-up to the box office.
The ride goes up to a vantage point where you can look over the harbor. There's a restaurant, bar, some gift shops, and such up there. If you just want to ride, look around, and ride back, you could do it all in less than an hour.

We did both. We had plenty of time to do the skyride in the morning - a bit after all ashore, but before we did the Catamaran Sail and Snorkel.

Yeah, you will have time to do both. Were were just there and did the skyride in the morning and then back to the ship in time for a jet boat tour before lunch. You need maybe an hour for the skyride. There is really nothing to do up at the top other than take pictures.

It can be a bit of a walk to the skyride depending on where at Havensight your are docked. We were out at the end and it was probably a 15 min walk to the skyride entrance.

Buying the tickets through Disney actually saves a buck or two per person, plus might save a few minutes of having to buy them when you get there. You still have to show your excursion tickets at the ticket window and exchange them for wristbands though.
