Dulles has halted all flights.

CC-one area is completely sunny, while others have downed trees, heavy rain, hail, etc. Very weird storm!

Yes, and my poor husband is sitting on a plane in Dallas right now that has been on a weather hold on the runway for TWO HOURS -- he is supposed to fly into Dulles on business.

Northern VA gets some fierce storms!

I'm not wishing for devastation or anything, but we love a good thunderstorm now and again, but they always tucker out before they reach us, or skirt to the north or south of us.

This is what has been going through the midwest the past almost week now and they say they are intensifying as they are heading east....yikes guys - stay safe!
