SNL 50th Should Be Epic!

I thought it was okay.

So wanted Stefon. Badly wanted Stefon. Happy to see Drunk Uncle though.

I am still trying to figure out how I watched so much of the early years, with my brother. My parents must have stopped parenting 🤩with me (youngest) as I was so young to be watching. But they always had such a flourishing social life I must have snuck it in then. 🤣So connected to those early years (Gilda anything, Coneheads. Island of Lost Luggage, Mr. Bill - sillier the better) & university time (Myers, Hartman Carvey Sweeney onto Sandler Farley etc Oh Dennis Miller! ). Was disappointed not see Ackroyd or Jane Curtain perform. At least there was Murray and Laraine. Chevy Chase is simply annoying to me. So did not care.

My favourite was Black Jeopardy. Hands down and back around. Although they could have been so much more intelligent with Hanks. Lazy writing there and understand why it was irritating and offensive to some.

But Black Jeopardy has always made me laugh to no end. And so happy to see Eddie Murphy.

I too would have loved a short part with those gone, all that talent. I too had no clue Jan Hooks has passed.

If you have Peacock, you can also watch the 5 Minutes special which has a lot of the audition footage and current feedback from a variety of cast members, writers, and casting.

Did Morgan Wallen just walk off the stage at the end and not say goodbye to anyone? Usually the guests stay on stage and chat and at least shake everyone's hand, even the musical guests.

I noticed that - it seemed a little odd.

It wasn't a great episode, but it had some moments. I usually love PDD, but I didn't think this was their strongest (though the first part where they were in their office was great!). The little animated thing was pretty good.

Only made it to Weekend Update then went to bed. Fortunately here on the West Coast they now air SNL Live LIVE at 830 pm so I still maee it to bed by 930 pm. Not a great episode.

He did.lol

He was saying something to Mikey when the cameras first showed them and then he bolted.

As evidenced by his shout out to the Tennessee Volunteers after song 2,his mind was on today's Elite 8 game.

He was probably telling her it had been real, but he needed to head on to his plane and head on to Indianapolis!

He is a HUGE Tennessee fan as is Eric Church,Kelsea Ballerini, etc.

Probably half of Nashville will be there. Lol

AND this was his response shortly after he walked off set ....

I don't think SNL is his kind of place.
