Sniffff Is that Soarin I smell? Bath and Body Works new candle

I ordered 9 candles, and it worked for me, came to $77.04 with tax. I just went to their site to see if I can figure out why it didn't work for you, but the candle sale is sadly over , sorry!

I have to have it. I have the Disney magic candle and it has a hint of the forest part of Soarin in it and I was just telling DH the other day how I wished they made a Soarin candle. Now I just need to find time to swing by the mall.

I generally do not like to light candles but generally if BBW has a candle named Paris Daydream, they also have lotion named the same thing. I am pretty sure I saw that when I was there last. I will have to go and have a sniff.

Actually, this is not true. I used to work there and there were tons of candle scents and no matching body scents. In fact, we had very few scents that came in both a candle and a body lotion.

They do have a scent called Paris Amour. But it's not the same as the candle.

Hmmmm - I see that for the lotions they have Paris Amour (I knew I saw something with Paris). I guess I'll have to go check if Paris Amour smells like Paris Daydream. I would love to smell Soarin' but lighting candles in my house makes me nervous. I'll have to see if they have Paris Daydream in Wallflowers.

I just checked the website and don't see it in anything other than the 3-wick candle. What about getting a candle warmer? That will melt the candle from the bottom and you won't have to light it.

I also checked to see if there was a difference in the scents of Paris Amour and Paris Daydream and it sounds like they are very different.

Paris Daydream: Like a sweet memory of skipping through the Paris rain, a fresh combination of fresh lily of the valley, delicate freesia and citrus infused with sandalwood.

So it sounds like they don't smell anything alike.

I already checked for the lotion. They don't have body care items for Paris Daydream, but they do for another Paris one called Paris Amour.

They are quite different smells. I have the spray in the Amour, its nice but nothing like the Daydream. The daydream is a bit of a masculine smell...it really smells like a combination of the Soarin' scents together

I have tea light candles I got as a gift, and as soon as I opened the package, it smelled just like the apple pie scent they spray in the "Be Our Guest" scene in Mickey's PhilHarmagic. I keep them in my linen closet in the bathroom and whenever I need a fix, I take them out and breath deeply. I won't burn them as I'm trying to preserve the smell until my next trip, next year! CAN' T WAIT!!!!!

The CEO where I work smells like Soarin'! He's an older gentleman and every other week I sit next to him in a meeting and his soap or aftershave instantly reminds me of Soarin! It drives me crazy because I want to know what it is, but feel completely ridiculous asking him. Someday, I might get up the nerve...

When the meeting is over, just say "Excuse me, but what is it that cologne you're wearing? I really enjoy the smell!" It's respectful, but also complimentary, so he's more likely to answer you. He'll also correct you if it's not cologne, so you're covered there too!

And then come back and tell us.

Anyone that likes the orange grove scent from Soarin' should try Wakely perfume for women from Abercrombie and Fitch, it smells just like it!

Funny! I almost forgot to post this I had to run into Bath & Body to get some items for our Disney Cruise and the FE gifts. While in there, I said - "there was a post on the DIS about a candle smelling like Soarin'". I remembered it had Paris in it so I started sniffing around I finally found it and asked my DH and DS and they both agreed - it did smell like Soarin'! I'm not 100% convinced yet I want to own it yet but I have to go back again and I have a coupon I can use towards it.

YES! My candle finally arrived, I was burning it when my DS 13 got home from school and he said, 'It smells like Soarin in here'!!! It really is a nice mix between the pine and the orange.

This is a little off the subject if Soarin but on the same lines...

My DD and I think that diet cherry limeaid from sonic tastes like Pirates of the Caribbean smells. Right at the first taste.

There's another candle that my veterinarian sells that has that "Disney clean" smell...I will see if I can find out the brand.

When dealing with really successful people, I find that they value employees who notice the details and complement people on the little things. I work directly for an owner of a multi-million dollar company. He's always complementing people on things from clothes to haircuts...it's an icebreaker! Who knows? Your love of the smell of Sorin could get you a promotion! Ask, ask, ask!
