I have this sneaky suspicion that the CM's on the phone don't always tell the truth. Here's the story...
I called dining yesterday to tweak my reservations a bit. I specifically asked for Coral Reef lunch on 9/25. I was told there was nothing. So I then asked for Akershus late breakfast or early lunch that same day. Again, I was told they were solidly booked.
I called today to try again. This time I was told Coral Reef lunch had many times. The lady rattled off tons and tons of openings--much more than would've been a cancellation here or there. I next asked for the Akershus early lunch and got the same story--lots of openings. What in the world???
How could yesterday have been solidly booked for both those restaurants on that one day, and now less than 24 hours later there are lots of openings? I was given my pick of times. I don't believe that that many people cancelled both restaurants so soon after I was on the phone yesterday.
What do you make of this? Drives me crazy when things like this happen. I try to believe in the good of people at all times but then I get hit with a big old "reality bites" moment.
