Alright time for Nancy Drew mystery caps everyone!

I need some photo help!

1 - in my wedding dress is there anywhere I could do a character meal or pictures without getting booted? :P

2 - how did people get the monorail pictures? Were you staying at a monorail hotel?

3 - has ANYONE taken a Disney bus in a wedding dress? (teeheehee)

Thanks in advance!

You can go to any character meal that's held outside of the parks in your dress. Cape May, Chef Mickeys, Ohana breakfast, 1900 Park Fare...there may be others as well. I'm wearing my dress to Hoop de Doo Revue!

Anyone can ride the monorail! Just go to MK to the Ticket and Transportation center and hop on!

I am taking a Disney bus in my wedding gear - it's 4 PM and I can't see the busses being packed so we decided to just take Disney Transportation to get us to and from HDDR in the afternoon.

good luck - your plans sound very cool so far!

I have monorail and bus photos in my TR, which is in my siggie. We got the monorail ones by just walking into the Poly with Randy. The bus ones are from going to dinner at Cali Grill that night :goodvibes

Thinking of doing the "reception" at Cape May or Chef Mickey for the characters myself. For large group reservations they suggest doing the first or last seating. Does anyone know when the last seating for breakfast is?

We plan on using the monorail for transportation from the WP to the Contemporary for our reception!!! I will be sure to have lots of photos taken in (the very front) and near the monorail! We also might hop on a bus! :woohoo:

Just to let you know guests are not allowed to ride in the front of the Monorail anymore. This was put in place after the incident in July 09 where a monorail driver died.

Oh BOOOO!!! Maybe they will let us go in for a photo then get out before it moves?! I'll add this to the list of ?'s for our PS! :confused3

I was wondering if anyone has pictures of themselves or others in their wedding dress at a character meal, and if so, would you mind posting it?

TIA

I heard that you can't ride the monorail in your wedding dress?

I figured thats why you had to book private transportation if you were having a dessert party later?

Could someone please fill me in on this?

Many thanks!:goodvibes

I asked my Wedding Planner specifically about riding the monorail in our wedding attire and she said she recommends it!!!
We are going to be riding the Monorail from the Grand Floridian to the Contemporary for our Reception.

Ah, maybe I am getting confused with riding it to Epcot for the dessert party?

I have heard that we have to meet a guide at the international gateway. I have no idea where that is or how we would get to it without having to book private transportation?:goodvibes

As far as I was told, you can ride the monorail in your wedding attire. We did not since I changed before my DP. As to the DP at Epcot, you can ride the monorail or buses there(we did and all of our guests did) but you have to be escorted into the park if you are in your wedding dress or if you or your guests do not have tickets. When you have your PS, talk with your planner and they will go over where you and your guests need to meet and what time. Just so you know, the entrance is right before the ticket booths in Epcot. Hope that helps.

I spoke to Pam the other day and she confirmed that you can not ride in the fronts of the monorails anymore (wedding dress or not) :sad1: However you can ride in another section of the monorail...wedding dress and all :yay: We are getting married in the WP and taking the monorail to the contemporary for our reception! Good Luck...HTH!
