we have been given the almighty gift of a grandpop who wants to babysit one night while we are at Disney ...where is a great place to go just for a few hours , maybe dinner and a cocktail ????

You could go over to Pleasure island, its in downtown disney, if not, just go to downtown disney for some child free shopping! Or the boardwalk has some adult things to do, sounds like a good idea for some time alone!

I recommend the carriage ride at Wilderness Lodge to top off your evening. You can even bring beverages with you.

Hang around the monorail resorts- Poly- beach ,Top of the Contemporary, time it for Wishes, Grand Floridian, sit and sip a beverage

when are you going?

there might be things in the parks to do depending upon when you are visiting.

plus where are you staying - some resorts are pretty romantic on their own.
