Sneaker question...

Completely random question here...

I need to get some new sneakers for the gym. I basically only do the machines at the gym (treadmill/elliptical/stairstepper) and I don't run.

What KIND of sneaker do I buy? A running? A crosstrainer? A walking?

Yes, I could go to Lady Footlocker and they could tell me the best sneak for a gym workout - however I'm cheap and want to hit Bob's Store (sneaks are always cheaper here.)

Any thoughts? Thanks!

I use a cross trainer..but I am not a shoe expert. It is just what was recommended to me.

see - that's what I thought...but I believe someone told me that crosstrainers are too 'heavy' for use at the gym? (I dunno - does that make sense?)

Regardless...I can feel the floor through the sneaks I have now...so ANYTHING will be an improvement.
