I got an email from Disney stating that today is AP preview day. Just show your AP and ride it anytime today. It is open to the public tomorrow. I cannot get away from work today, so I will have to brave the crowds to see it! Are you going?

Thanks for the article. I was really against the addition of the characters, but from the photos, it's not too bad. Should have known the Imagineers would do it right.

I too was pretty much against the addition, but I like that they were done in the style of IASW, not what I was really expecting!

That looks a lot better that I was expecting! Hopefully the song will sound as good, too. They really are good when they add things to the rides, like Captain Jack in POTC.

I totally forgot about AP preview today. I just called my neighbor to let her know. She took her DD11 today for her birthday. She said they will check it out.

I think it looks cute. Read a few of the comments on OC Register site as well. I am getting tired of people commenting that all Disney does is promote their movies. Hello, what do you think Peter Pan, Mr. Toad, Pinocchio, Dumbo, and Snow White rides do? And they've been there for a really long time.

Hats off to the imagineers, I think they did a fantastic job! I am totally surprised and the way they did the characters is not what I expected at all. To me it looks like the original Mary Blair-esque dolls in Disney character costumes.

I'm so excited to see it!!!

I saw IASW in Hong Kong, and they had the Disney characters in it there. I thought it was well done, and made it a better attraction than the California or Florida versions.

It's nice to see California get the new characters. I wish Florida would also, but since they just updated IASW in Florida a year ago, I doubt they'll add the new characters anytime soon.

My DH had an opportunity to preview IASW earlier this week. All he would tell me is that the mice needed "help" He didn't see the Mushu kite his first walk through and liked the new American additions. I missed the AP preview and I'm going to have to convince him to go after work tomorrow.
