Snatching Up Cancelled Reservations - Any Luck?

I managed to get a be our guest reservation by coordinating with someone 2 days ago.

They cancelled on the hour we decided on and then I kept going on that day and time it took me about 10 attempts and then it appeared.

I did it on the app.

What are you trying to get?

I have had about an 80% success rate dropping things and having people pick them up. I have found that they do better on their computer than on the app. Part of that may be they are sitting at the computer, dedicated to doing it and not doing something else while doing it on their phone.

We had to slide a trip back by a week, so I dumped a week's worth of stuff for early December this year. We had a streak of 10 successes in a row going until someone got Olafed. Then a few other fails happened. One person told me they were trying to pick it up while driving. She should have had me wait to drop it. I also try to avoid doing it when either this site is pitifully slow or the Disney site is spazzing. Both of those decrease the chances of success.

I'm trying to get one for BOG next week. Another user was kind enough to coordinate, but I was unable to get it - definitely not their fault at all.

We are leaving in the morning and I was trying to gauge how much effort I should keep putting in to trying to pick one up with this method - that's all.
