We leave in 2 weeks and I am struggling with the stroller issue. We are traveling with my DS 4 and DD 3 months. We have a double stroller, but I am leaning toward bringing 1 single stroller for my DS and our snap-n-go for my DD. My reasoning is that I can bring her in the car seat into the restaurants without waking her up if she's sleeping. Has anyone done this? I don't know that any of the restaurants allow strollers inside. As many times as we've been to Disney, I just can't remember seeing anyone with the snap-n-go. Any thoughts??

I don't know if I'd do it. Then you have two pieces to deal with every time you get on trams or busses. And you still have to take her out of the car seat to go on rides.

My understanding is that most restaurants will allow a stroller with a sleeping baby inside.

Personally I would bring the most comfortable stroller for a baby that age, IMHO a larger fully reclining stroller would be best.

CRS were designed for safety in cars and although its nice to use it for your sleeping baby and bring him/her into the grocery store in the CRS for say and hour they were not designed for long term use. AAP is recommending that babies spend as little time as possible in them - and they only be used for car travel and the occasional errand if baby is sleeping.

For a day at the parks you will want something that lays flat is easy to push and has a large sun shade. We used a clip on fan and clip on umbrella for extra shade and comfort.

You can bring a stroller into all the counter serve restaurants and most table serve restaurants if baby is sleeping. Make ADR's for off times like late lunch or early dinners, (late lunches work best with my kiddos).

In addition I would consider bringing a sling or front carrier for those places that don't allow a stroller like queues or some of the pavillions at Epcot. Much easier and more comfortable than carrying the carseat around without the stroller part.

Thanks for the suggestions! You have both swayed me away from the snap-n-go. I do have a front carrier, which I planned on bringing. We will bring 2 strollers - I think the double is just too tough to maneuver in crowds. We are staying at Boardwalk, so we can walk to MGM and Epcot and not worry about the bus. When we go to MK or AK, it may be best to rent for my DS and just bring the stroller for the baby. First time going with 2 children, let alone a baby - definitely a challenge, but looking forward to it!!
