Snake Identification Question

After reading this thread I am feeling much better about the tarantula I found in my garage last week

Thank you, thank you very much. I feel so honored!! I'm sorry to have freaked everyone out. I'm sure this was a freak incident. I haven't had any snakes inside our house we moved to (directly off of 2920 actually, GM). When they inspected the old house they found a large snake skin in the ATTIC. I do live in a country area on acreage, not in a neighborhood.

I live in Florida and a couple years ago a lady in our area had a alligator come in her house. The gator followed her dog in though the pet door.

Now THAT would've sent me to the hospital. Snakes really don't bother me, but I hate gators. We have a few in ponds around here, and they are just mean critters.
