Snagged OKW 2 bedroom today for December

Hi Gang,

Yesterday Southwest had a great Ding fare out of Indianapolis to Orlando for $66 round trip per person (total price, believe it or not). Called our daughters and son-in-laws and everybody said, let's go for a long weekend and do Mickey's Christmas party. They've been telling us they wanted to see Disneyworld decorated for the holidays. I called Member Services today and was able to get a 2 bedroom for the 10th and 11th of December. I had a choice of a 2 bedroom at Saratoga, OKW, or two studios at Saratoga. I was surprised that there was much of anything for December. But I guess having one day of a weekend in there probably helped.

So maybe a few days here and there for December can still be had if you're flexible.

Congratulations on that ressie, and I am sure you are right about having a weekend night in there being partly responsible for your luck. Sounds like a GREAT trip!

Thanks for the well wishes! The kids are all excited. My daughter had a friend in the surgery department at the hospital where she works say, man, you are a spoiled brat.

Another comment from a friend of my daughter's husband was, "gosh, being married into her family comes with bonuses." Ah, the joys of DVC. We couldn't do things like this without it. Gotta love it

LOL, and that for me is the REAL joy of DVC. I love being able to treat family and friends to trips and provide the accommodations!

Congrats ! I am so glad you didnt post about the airfare, Indy is only 2 1/2 hours away and we really like that airport, i would have bought tickets too, even though we are going at the end of dec.
