Are all 3 flavors considered a dole whip? If I walk up and just say I want a dole whip will they give me a specific flavor or ask me to specify? I had always thought it was the pineapple.

Technically all 3 are considered a dole whip, but most people are referring to the pineapple flavor. They should ask you what flavor, when ordering. You can also get a swirl dole whip!!!!!! My family votes for the pineapple, though on the last trip, one daughter ordered the orange.

I prefer the citris swirl at the ice cream shop in Adventureland next to Tiki Birds over the dole whip.

We like the candied almonds. They seem like a good value to us and you get a pretty decent sized bag. Great to share for a snack with a small boost of energy.

I LOVE the school bread in Norway (another great value). We also like the new ice cream place in France and anything from Karamel Kuche in Germany.

And for some reason frozen bananas just taste a thousand times better on a hot day in AK than anywhere else.

HS- Carrot Cake Cookie Sandwich at the Writer's Stop.
MK- Funnel Cake from Sleepy Hollow
Epcot- School Bread in Norway; Napoleon in France.
AK- Paw Print Brownie from Kusafari.

YUM!!!!

I don't like pineapple (I like fresh pineapple but not pineapple flavor). So, if I want one that is orange and vanilla - what is that called? Is that a citrus swirl? And, are the floats only pineapple flavored or are there other flavors for the floats? I'm sure it's not really this complicated...thx!

Dole Whip is heaven in a hand held container.

Non dairy soft serve, traditionally pineapple flavored. a float adds pineapple juice. I tend to get a float with Pineapple/vanilla twist.

the only other absolutely must get snack is a Caramel apple. I don't do Mickey Bars, or mouse ear shaped rice krispie treats or any of the other kitchsy ones. I also shy away from pedestrian items like soft pretzels which I can get anywhere.

However this year, being on the DP, IF there are any snack credits left over from Food and Wine, I am soooo going crazy at the Karmel shop in Germany...

As far as I know, for the floats you can get any of the "ice cream" flavors, but the liquid is only pineapple juice, so if you don't like pineapple flavor, I would not recommend the float. It 'may' have some real pineapple juice in it, but to my taste buds it's too sweet and not acidic enough to be 100% real pineapple juice....might be that it's "10% juice" type crud that they sell in grocery stores.

I like the pineapple and the orange flavor, but not so much the vanilla....just kinda blah to me.....but then I make my own ice cream and use real vanilla beans (and double the amount the original recipe calls for), so what they're passing off as vanilla, just isn't to me, lol.

I don't know if they still do this, but our first time trying this my daughters weren't sure they'd like it and the CM got spoons and gave them each a sample dollop. You might ask, worst they can do is say no.

MK- dole whip float.. mmm!
Epcot- cucumber margarita.. does that count? :goodvibes
AK- love the chicken fried rice at Yak and Yeti
HS- carrot cake cookie and butterfinger cupcake

MK - fruit and Nutella waffle, le fou's brew
AK - candied pecans, jalepeno pretzel
Epcot - napoleon, gran marnier slush, shrimp and grits (f&g booth)

Everywhere - french fries, mickeys premium ice cream bars
