It's an unofficial tradition in my office to bring back treats when anyone goes on vacation - macadamia nut cookies from Hawaii, salt water taffy from the beach, Guinness flavored chocolates from Ireland, etc. What's something I can bring back from Disney that would travel well? We've brought back fudge from the beach on previous trips to FL because we always split time between Disney and family/friends, but if there's something Disney specific, I'd love to do that.

Chocolates from the ganachery were my first thought, but are a little pricier than I'd like to spend for my office of 20ish.

I’ve always liked to bring home unusual flavored candies gathered at the various countries in Epcot. It’s fun to pick up a few things here and a few things there while you tour. Most of them are individually packed and travel well.

I agree. German gummy bears. They are actually from Germany and have less sugar than their American version (making them a tiny bit more tart).

The Japan pavillion has some fun Japanese candy.

I usual bring home an assortment from the Goofy candy company and it makes it easy because it's in all the gift shops

This made me laugh! I once ended up with 96 snack credits on our last day (6 people on the DxDDP for 10 days). our flight home was at 6pm, so we killed time at DS after checkout. We went to Goofy's (around noon) an I thought it would be a great idea to bring home something for my office/coworkers. I decided on fudge because they are all chocolate fanatics. 1/4 lb was a credit, so I got 24 lbs!! My husband told me to not get so much, but what else did we have to do with the credits? (We also had meal credits to have a late lunch before we left)

We left there and went to a boat ramp to cross to the other side of DS. The bag was getting heavy so I asked my husband to hold it. "Oh no...this was your idea!". I carried that bag for hours. My sons occasionally would carry it for about 5 minutes every so often. My husband did help out every now and then, but they all happily reminded me it was my idea and I should be the one carrying it when they got tired.

We went to Wolfgang Pucks for lunch, then walked around maybe another hour, carrying my purse and 24 lbs of chocolate, and FINALLY headed off to the airport. We get to security and it dawned on me I might not be able to bring it on the plane 😲.

I put the bag in the security tray and move along like nothing could be wrong. I really felt like I was smuggling drugs! Of course, it gets flagged for inspection. I moved to the end of the counter and the security guard starts pulling out the boxes. "Whats in here?" I said, with my best smile, "Just some chocolate fudge for my coworkers :) " (Please let me take it...PLEASE!!) He then proceeds to open a box. By the look on his face I thought he discovered a block of cocaine. I was shaking wondering if I could take it and why the shocked look. He turned the box around and all I see is lumpy chocolate soup :( I guess in the 90+ heat for 4 hours and in the truck of the car for 1/2 an hour it basically all melted. I laugh about it now, but I was so upset that day.

@DISNEY1975 That is such a sad story! We had lovely almost table mates on our Alaska cruise who gave us some beautiful preserves from Vancouver and I had to give them up at TSA. Since my bag was packed the night before and I was given the gift at breakfast, I put it in my carryon and didn't think about TSA. I was equally disappointed.

I usually pick up the Goofy chocolates and trail mixes for my office of 25.

Fudge, fudge and more fudge. Unfortunately last time we visited the choice in flavours was very limited. Years ago we could select from at least 8 or more but on our last trip there seemed to be no more than four.

Sad about the preserves :( Yes, I too had given my luggage up at the resort before checkout so they could send directly to the airport.

I have learned that if it is in sealed manufacturers packaging I can bring it, but the taped boxes were a no go. Now I get the sealed treats to bring home (rice krispy/caramels/chip and dale snacks etc..), but my boys have grown and my Mom doesnt travel anymore, so with only 3 of us, I never end up with as many credits as that trip! Ive also become accustomed to a mid day ice cream :) So now, we have about 30 credits to bring home treats for my office and my DD15's friends.

I brought home jelly beans from Goofy's Candy Co on my last trip to the World. Carried around in the heat for a few hrs, then on the plane all the way back to NYC and they were fine.

I usually bring the Disney Parks candy bars - they come in a pack of 5 and are five different varieties

I always bring back some Disney mints or the fruit flavored ones in the Disney or Star Wars tins. They are cool little souvenirs even after the candy is gone.
