Hi all... Going to US/IoA on May 26th, and will have the DD5 in tow, along with a couple of guests. First time going, so I'm curious.. what are the cheapeast, but still best places to grab a bite to eat? I don't mean sit down restaurants, because those usually aren't kid-friendly, and I AM working within a budget here. Just want to know what is a can't miss, and what to definitely avoid.. thanks!

i love cafe 4 in IOA. we get whole pizza's ($16 for cheese, $18 for pepporoni) and usually share sodas amongst the kids.

at IOA The Croissant Moon Bakery has some great quick selections...healty too if you want. They have tables inside and outside but its a help yourself and seat yourself.

Something really fun is Green Eggs and Ham Cafe they have the typical chicken fingers but also a Green Eggs and Ham sandwich! Pretty good too:)

At Universal they have a similar Bakery called Beverly Hills Boulangerie.

My favorite for a quick lunch and a great sandwich and sundae is Schwabs! YUM

Or...a great standby...skip lunch and grab a funnel cake with fruit toppings in either park...to die for!

At IOA, Burger Digs is nice, located in the JPRA section of the park.
They have a fixins bar so you can pile the toppings high on your burger. The good thing about this place, is by the time you show up early, and do a few rides, you'll be in this section of the park at about 11am. When you walk past it, go in there and order before the long lines show up at noon.
If the kids want pizza, there is Pizza Predetorria just across from it. Both places have tables to sit at and you don't have to tip. Burger digs has indoor seating, with a nice balcony that over looks the lake with great views of Hulk.

The funnelcake and ice cream at Artic Express in IOA is a good value!

Pizza is probably the cheapest option. They have it not only at Cafe 4 in IOA but also at a spot in US--forget the name. Not a bad deal at all if you get a whole pie. I often like to grab a pretzel as opposed to a full up lunch. DS and DH like to gnaw on those turkey legs.
