Hi All,

We have always said that this is a nice thing to do, however, we are either too tired to stay for fireworks or move on out with the crowd and end up waiting in transportation lines.

What snack places are open after the fireworks? I would love to sit on a bench and watch everyone else leave... then.... just mozey out to my bus.

Thanks for the tips in advance.

If the park closes before the fireworks/as the fireworks are showing, I would anticipate most snack locations, with the exception of the Main Street Confectionary (or it's current temp location) would be closed by the time the fireworks are over.

Also, if the park is closed I don't believe they will allow guests to head into the park once the fireworks are complete.

Tonight Happily Ever After is at 8:15 the the park closes at 8:30 so I believe the above scenario would apply.

Well, I wasnt so much heading into the park, but just gong to allow the crowd to exit as I relax on a bench, and enjoy a rice crispy treat.. or ice cream!!!

That’s exactly what we did. Waited on a bench for about 45 min. After HEA fireworks ended. Strolled out and only 4 people at the bus stop. Did the same thing at Epcot after fireworks. Same results. This was the last week of August. So crowds may be a bit more now.

I just checked the app for tonight although it will probably differ the night you're there as tonight is a Boo Bash.

Today:
Park hours - open until 8:30pm
Happily Ever After - 8:15
Plaza Ice Cream - open until 9:10pm
Main Street Bakery - open until 8:30pm for day guests

It does appear given these hours that you would be able to grab and ice cream after the fireworks. You would be able to enjoy a rice crispy treat for sure as they're available at the Emporium which is open at least an hour after park closing.

Enjoy your treats! We're also ones who find things to do when the parks close and slowly make our way out to avoid the crowds at the buses. Occasionally we've been so late (not purposely) that they'd consolidated all the bus stops towards the front and the Pop bus was close to the park exit as opposed to next door to the Contemporary. ;)

What happens when the Deluxe guests get two EMH days? Can regular folks stay in the parks and get food even though we can't ride anything? What is the process?

Another option would be to stop at Big Top Souvenirs and grab a krispie treat before the fireworks. Then you could grab a bench or sidewall after the fireworks and enjoy your krispie treat.

caseys usually stays open and we grab some corn dog nuggets and sit at the tables outside and wait it out

all great ideas, I am just glad it is possible. I know at that late hour, this ole bear will be tired and his paws may be hurtin a bit... but ice cream always makes things better...

On our trip a couple weeks ago we got ice cream on Main St after the fireworks. The line was quite long but worth it!

Grab a non-melty treat before the show and enjoy it on a bench AFTER. We usually do that for Epcot fireworks...though honestly sometimes the treats don't make it until after the show LOL.
