Snacks on the Dining Plan

You can use the snack credits for fruit, but it probably is not cost effective to do so. We were at WDW a few weeks ago (and were on the dining plan) and fruit cost about $1.25 or so, but ice cream at the parks (which counts as a snack) is about $2.50, and the large water which counts as a snack costs $2 (I think--maybe $2.50). So unless you don't think that you will use all of the snack credits it doesn't make sense to use them to buy fruit for breakfast.

I agree - I was just there last week. Not sure about what there is for breakfast, but veggies don't count as or dessert, either. And don't take it for granted that what one CM allows that the next one will. Some don't exactly know what the plan includes.

Cheers!

Are you asking what you would get as a dessert if you used your counter service credit? When we used our counter service credits for breakfast we usually ordered a breakfast platter and then got a danish, bagel, muffin or Mickey Crispy treat for the dessert. We found that eating the cs meal for breakfast usually held us over until our TS dinner that night. We used our snack credits usually for water, popcorn or icecream bars in the park.
