snacks on plane

We are flying UsAir? Does anyone know what if any food or snacks they serve on the plane? We are flying Delta back. We booked our air through Disney, I don't really understand why they booked two different carriers? Anyone have any ideas?

We flew last August on US Air from PHL to Miami to catch a cruise and they gave us (1) tiny bag of pretzels and free soda, juice or coffee. They also offered alcohol if you wanted to buy any. We usually just pick up snacks in the airport. Have fun!

Delta gives either the little bags of pretzles or cookies and a drink. Personally, I would make sure to have something with me. If you flight is short and turbulence is really bad, there will be no inflight service. It happened to me on my last trip from ATL to MCO. The seatbelt light never went off and there was no service at all.

We've learned to take snacks with us. Since we moved west and have longer flights there is no rhyme or reason as to when the airlines serve snacks or meals. According to what I've read you're supposed to get a snack (sandwich or salad) with flights over a certain length of time, but even when the website or ticket shows this you may only get the small bag of pretzels and soft drink. I usually take something like crackers or granola bars and my DH requires M&Ms!

Most USair flights now have food for purchase. They are actually better than the free fare they use to serve...I think they are $7-8.00 each. I usually just bring snacks the flight from PHl to MCo is short.
