Snacks for the plane ride

Hey guys

I was just wondering when we fly to florida are we allowed to take snacks for the children in our carry on?

For instance a couple of bags of crisps and maybe some sweets?

Ime just thinking of them being on the plane 8/9 hours and thinking a snack half way will help

dont know where u are flying from but if u have to fly that long i would expect lunch or dinner and snacks

Yes, I do it all the time when we fly and it doesn't matter the length of the trip. You never know when flight delays might happen and the snacks inside the airport are $$$. When you are in the airport you are a captive audience. Better to have some snacks with you and not use them, then to want/need them and not have them.

I always pack peanut butter sandwiches for my kids. If the plane gets delayed, we have something "real" to eat while we wait.

Be careful if you are planning on bringing nuts for the plane ride..on my last trip, there was an announcement saying that there was a person with a nut allergy on board & we were asked not to eat them. Make sure you bring something else just in case.

Yep, you can pack whatever food you'd like as long you don't have liquid...LOL.

You could pack bagels w/butter on them, cold cut sandwiches, snacks, chips, etc. And to help keep them cold you could freeze grapes and that can act as your "ice" to help keep everything cold and then that you can snack on those too!

I usually take on a few small sized candy bars, a bag of chips, and maybe some trail mix. Keeping in mind that I may not be able to eat the trail mix, if someone on board has peanut allergies.
