We are going in September with 2 little ones and a few men that also like to snack. I am trying to put a list together for garden grocer but would like to know what are a few things that worked well for you guys? any help is greatly appreciated.

The snacks I typically bring for my DD on our trips include: breakfast bars, goldfish, squeeze applesauce, and peanuts.

I know they cost more but I like the single serve packages of crackers, cookie chips and the like. easier to just grab a number of them and throw in backpack. my grandsons also love the packs that have cheese and crackers that you make you self, I think they also come with cookies and icing. single serve cereal boxes that can be eaten dry

Jerky(kinda prefer the homemade stuff :D ), granola. We also look for stuff with high fiber/protein to stick with us. We try to avoid the sweet snacks due to desserts after dinner:rolleyes1

Raisins, nuts/trail mix, graham crackers, fruit, pretzels, fruit snacks, applesauce, pudding, pb&j sandwiches

We are pretty healthy (and DS has food allergies that limit processed food options) so we do a lot of fresh fruit, cut up veggies (carrots, cucumbers, bell peppers) and hummus, olives, cubes of cheese and salami, EPIC bars, KIND bars, LARA bars, hard boiled eggs (I think you can get them already cooked in a bag now), jerky, olives, tortilla chips.

Cold fruit! In that heat, nothing is more refreshing than biting into a cold, juicy, sweet grape! Or a nice fresh cold pear, or pineapple spears ! If I need a more substantial snack, I pair it with a tuna pouch or a string cheese for the protein

We usually do chips, cookies, fresh fruit, fruit strips, squeeze pouches, dried fruit, goldfish, pretzels, nuts, string cheese. I tend to stay away from anything that could melt easily like chocolate. I do get the single serving size of things when possible.

Garden Grocer has those mini boxes of cereal. Those could be a good snack if you all like to munch on cereal.

How do you keep your fruit/veggies cold? Are you allowed to bring in a small cooler?

You can bring a soft sided cooler. We are going to have a stroller so I'll put it there. We considered a backpack cooler which would work if you don't have a stroller.
