Where, when and what can I find to eat besides our scheduled dinner?

Thanks!

A few examples from one day on our 10 day cruise:

Pinocchios Pizzeria open 11 am - 6 pm and 9:30 pm - 12 midnight

Pluto's dog house 11 am - 11:30 pm

Scoops 12 pm - 7 pm and 9:30 pm - 11 pm

Fruit station at Scoops 12 pm - 5 pm

Late night snack 11 pm - 12 am

Early bird coffee and danish 6:30 am - 7:30 am

Oh yeah - 24 hour room service :D

It should be noted the the menu at Plutos includes hot dogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers, chicken strips, fish sandwich and frys.

It should also be noted that late night snacks are kind of a joke, light fare in the bars, most nights Disney, unlike other lines, does not do a midnight buffet......on 7 days they do a chocolate midnight buffet one night, and a seafood buffet on another, but not the normal full buffets other lines do.
Doesn't seem to be missed since one Disney difference among passengers is they tend to go to bed early, and get up early.

On Deck 9 there's Pluto's Dog House (hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken fingers, fries, etc), Pinocchio's Pizzeria (Pizza and ???), Scoops (soft serve ice cream and fresh fruit), Deck 9 drink station with Coke, Sprite, tea, lemonade. Times vary for these but generally they're open during the day. Topsiders (Beach Blanket on the Wonder) is open for "causal dining" for mealtimes and usually has more flexible hours like lunch till 2:30. Then there's room service ANYTIME for cookies, cheese tray, chickenfingers, and other stuff.

In other words, you WON'T go hungry. Lots more than you can eat.

We did the 7 night and I don't recall a chocolate buffet but then I think I missed most things! Are you sure there is one?

As for snacks, you know, the one thing we all craved in my family was simple things, like cheese and crackers. Yes, I know you can order the room service platter but sometimes you aren't in your room and you don't want to fill up on junk like french fries and fried stuff on deck. I know there's fruit but I had so much fruit at Scoops I actually developed ulcers in my mouth. I just wanted peanuts or crackers! Weird, because I don't snack at home but I wanted them bad!

We didn't miss not having a late-night buffet. We picked up pizza, wraps, hotdogs, etc. or ordered room service when we were hungry. They had a really nice salad on the room service menu. Also, when we ordered room service we always got cookies and popcorn even when weren't hungry for them because we could always take them to the shows. I know what you mean cruisenewbie2004, I got so spoiled with all of the incredibly fresh fruit around. I didn't notice it until I got home and went grocery shopping.
For a nice healthful snack, the omelet bar (not the regular buffet line) at Beach Blanket Buffet had dried fruit and nuts, so I took a ziplock baggie and made a snack bag for later.

The DW and I had cheese and crackers every night in Sessions with our before dinner drink. The first night Gabby asked if we wanted them and we never had to ask again. They just appeared with the glasses of wine.

Chuck,

That is a great idea! Thanks for sharing. DH and I love cheese and crackers with our b4 dinner drink as well. We will be sure to ask for it too!

Thanks again,
Laurie

I never made it to Sessions one time. In fact, I never made it to one bar. I had two small children probably that's why. :(

The Cove Cafe coffee lounge has excellent muffins, cookies and biscotti. You don't need to buy coffee to have them, though. Just stop in and ask!

Thanks for all the information. This will help me to plan shore excursions. I wanted to make sure we could find a snack if we missed lunch onboard. Call me thrifty, but I can't see paying for lunch off the boat, given the price we pay to be on the boat!

On the Wonder they also had cookies by the drink station in the afternoons. Yummy!
