Snacks and Beverages at DL?

Random question, but are the snack stands open to buy snacks or beverages without mobile order? I thought I had read that the stands were open, but a friend is currently there reporting she had to mobile order water and the soonest pick up time isn't until after 5:30 tonight. If that's the case, what's the best plan for snacks and beverages? Bring some with us or mobile order first thing in the morning?

That is absolutely insane for water. Your friend should still be able to get ice water from a QS location, but I am not sure of the procedures at DL. At WDW we were able to just ask as a lot of the indoor places had the water stations away from the main service areas.

Yes there are snack stands around that don’t do mobile ordering. I bought water and chips at the one by Splash mountain. They sell Icecream, chips, etc. The fruit stand is in front of BTMRR as well. Churro and popcorn stands sell water and soda too.

Thanks. I will pass this on to my friend. She's not a huge Disney person like most of us, so maybe she just isn't looking hard enough. I've always brought my own water bottles in the past, but when it's this hot, you need to be able to get water quickly.

I bought water and/or sodas at many of the smaller mobile carts when we were there. Just look for the popcorn or churro stands and they will have bottles of water available for sale.

Many of the the standalone carts sell water, BUT not many open before 11 or 11:30. Churro carts seem to open the earliest and they also sell drinks.

You can get cups of ice water free from Galactic Grill, at least. We did that Saturday. Just walk up to the window and ask.

You may need to stand on line because there are other guests in front of you, but I definitely saw people getting water without mobile ordering.
