Hi Guys,
Sis and I will be at WDW this Feb. and have decided to just get counter snacks at Epcot instead of a sit-down lunch. So... would love to hear what your favorites are? We're dining at San Angel so Mexican is out. Thanks in advance for your ideas.

If you are looking for a counter service meal, we have found the burgers and hot dogs at the Liberty Inn in America to be delicious. Love the fixins bar!
If snacks are more what you had in mind, we recently "discovered" the funnel cakes in America and they were delicious! They were so good that we actually made a trip around WS to go back and get one on another day. ;)

When we have PS for a nice dinner in Epcot, we like to pop into Matsu No Ma lounge in Japan for a few pieces of sushi around lunchtime. It's not "counter service," but it's quick (we've never had to wait to be seated or for our food to arrive during lunchtime) and it's air-conditioned with a beautiful view of the park! Dh also likes the Fish & Chips in UK. I'm not a big fried fish fan,so I can't say how good it is, but he loves it.

My DD and I went to DisneyLand last Spring and were pleasantly surprised that they had small trays of veggie and dip at the stands around the park. We ended getting them multiple times and I was happy to not being eating junk food all the time. Do they now offer these at WDW? We're hoping so! I don't remember them the last time we went to WDW 2 years ago.

Don't forget to do a wine sampling/tasting in France.... Then step over to watch the guys perform the "chair trick."

We also really loved the Cinnamon Pecans in America....

Love the burgers from the American pavilion and the fish and chips from the UK - YUM!!!:sunny:

This was a long time ago, but there was a stand over by Japan that sold chicken and rice (I think). All I remember was it was so good I went back three times during our stay!

Don't forget to do dessert in France!! The Boulangerie Patisserie is one of the BEST for either breakfast or dessert. It has so many pastries and cakes and the taste is just to die for! Have fun :D

Thanks for the tips! We may try the wraps in Morocco. I'm a vegetarian and it looks like they have some good options for me, like tabouleh, couscous, and hummus. Any opinions on any of the fare from this place?

We ate at the Morrocco pavilion in May 2001..and LOVED it!

We sat in the court yard, and were able to 'people watch', while we enjoyed our lunch.

I think you'll be happy with your choice:)

A Beaver Tail in Canada. Also dont forget to ask the CM to sing the Beaver Tail song!:p

I wanted to get something to eat or drink in each country. I had to split it up in two days because of time.
Here is what I did yesturday and Saturday.
In Mexico I got nachos and a layered margarita.
In Norway I got a Cloudberry Horn.
In China I had a Bubble QQ Tea.
I got some wine in Germany.
I got some dessert wine and chocolates.
I skipped America, I was just to full and thought this would be a good country to miss. This is when I ended my first day of eating.
Yesturday was a much nicer day.
I started out in Canada. I was looking forward to trying a Beaver Tail for the first time, but as luck would have it, the stand wasn't opened and this was at 1:15. I looked for snacks but they didn't really offer much in the shops except gummy candy. I was tempted to get some cheddar cheese soup in Le Cellier, but I was shy on time. I skipped the Molson and headed over to the UK. I got some fish and chips and a Bass Ale.
In France I got some Champagne and chocolates.
In Morocco I got a Tangierine Cocktail and some marinated olives.
I didn't have much time left when I went to Japan so I got my kids some candy, which they said was good.
I really had fun doing this as it was my time. I hope to do it again this summer when I will enlist the help of my family.
