snack tray for maclaren quest

We decided on the quest, but we would like to add a snack tray for the baby, all I have found so far is on ebay and was wondering if anyone knew of any options for a tray that attaches to the mac quest? It is a 2006 model, if that matters.

I know that there used to be a tray from BabyTrend that also worked on Maclarens that you could buy. Not sure if they are still available though. I have also seen ones on Ebay (not sure of brand though) but Maclaren itself doesn't sells tray that I know of.

I don't think you can order it online (I couldn't figure out how) since it is an older model. I called the number and said I needed a replacement part (didn't go into that it was for a mac instead of a bt). She asked for the model number and date of manufacture. I need to send a check or money order for 14.95. I am curious how it will work to put it on since it is not made for a mac.

I'm not sure but I am thinking that it just snaps onto the frame on each side? Do you know what I mean? Like it snaps on and snaps off? I'm thinking each end is like a tube but with an open side that would snap onto and off the stroller frame. LOL That probably makes no sense!!

This past fall, I backed over our BabyTrend stroller. I had purchased it at ToysRUs last Christmas (2006). Well, I knew we were going to WDW, and everyone on the boards were raving about Maclarens, so I bit the bullet, paid the $139, and bought the previous year model Quest (2006). But I held on to the tray from the BabyTrend. It fits the Quest perfectly. It snaps on the frame on either side. It also fits into our backpack so I have a place to stash it when we fold up the stroller and take it on the buses.

FYI - If you don't want to mess with taking the snack tray on and off each time you fold up the stroller, we've used this side-rider from OneStepAhead attached to the side of the stroller:

It clips on easily, folds up with stroller with no problem, and holds a drink cup and snacks or toys nicely. It's not good for a baby (not easily reachable for the smallest arms), but works perfectly for older toddlers.

I've checked on ebay and they don't have any posted either. My son does so much better in the stroller if he has something in front of him. Please let me know if you come across anything!

Babytrends customer service is a JOKE! If you have need for the tray in the near future, don't count on it. They only take checks for payment and it will take forever to get to you. I ended up getting in touch with them by email and was less than satisfied with the response and attitude from their rep. When I expressed my frustration with their phone lines and poor customer service, I got a VERY snotty response. I am not a complainer, either so I was very put off by it. I ended up getting the Kiddie Kangaroo pouches from Amazon.com instead of giving any business to Babytrend and it worked great.

in the description it says it's for a carseat. Does it really work well on a stroller? We have a maclaren and am at the end of my rope trying to find something to use! Thanks!!!

Thank you so much. I was a little skeptical at first that this would work, but it worked out perfectly. I filled in the online form to request the part (per the information above), then promptly received an email confirming that I needed to send a money order to them. From the time I mailed payment to the time I received the tray in the mail, it was no longer than about 10 days (which is incredible since they had to ship to Canada). The tray is really well designed and it clips on perfectly on my Maclaren Quest Sport (2008 model). It comes off and on really easily and it surprisingly fits perfectly on the frame.

The customer service emails from Baby Trends left something to be desired, but overall I was really happy with this purchase. Thanks so much for posting the above info for acquiring the tray. (I should have bought an extra one as a back-up... hee hee).
