I am noticing a numerous "snack places" not accepting the Disney Dining Plan. Is this new or have I just not noticed before? I thought most to all places in the parks accepting the plan.
The dining plans only list the places that accept Table Service or Counter Service credits. If it is a place that accepts only snack credits (e.g. Sunshine Terrace in the MK) it will not be included in the list of dining plan venues. On the menus on Allears, there is the purple ddp logo next to many of the items that can be purchased with snack credits.
If it is a place like Sunshine Tree Terrace (the Orange Bird place) it only has snack eligible items and doesn't accept Table Service or Quick (Counter) Service credits. Since the dining plan brochure only lists places that accept Table Service or Quick Service credits Sunshine Tree Terrace will say "Dining Plans not accepted."
The places you mentioned are places that accept only snack credits. On the dining plans Disney lists only places that accept Table Service or Quick (Counter) Service credits even though many of the Quick (Counter) Service places will also accept snack credits for individual items. At the places you listed as well as many others, any item with the purple ddp logo can be purchased using a snack credit.
