I remember reading once that it is possible to have mickey waffles with jam/cream in the DLH? Is this right, and is it open to non-hotel guests?

If so, what time/s is is available?

Thank you :)

Café Fantasia in the DLH is open to non-residents and serves bar snacks and has a light bar menu. I think it opens from 12 noon.

Waffles and whipped cream does sound like a lovely afternoon treat, and the DLH is so pretty, why not. Thanks for posting this and we plan on stopping in.

Do you know if there is a price list to view for there bar snacks? Would be a nice way to have a snack and relax for a bit....... never been there yet :)

Hi all!!! :wave2:

I don't know how much this helps, but me and my DBF make a habit of stopping for cocktails and snacks in the DLH throughout the day whenever we visit DLP... I'm more there for cocktails :rotfl2: but I can be swayed to eat after a few (dozen) drinks....

Anyways, I have dug out a few photos I took last time we stopped by for a little afternoon treat at Café Fantasia... I hope these help somewhat?

Bon Apetit ! :cutie:

Oh looks great thanks for adding :)
Is the price per person or is it enough to share between 2 or 3 for a wee snack? Sorry for more questions :confused3

The price is per person for full afternoon tea (which is actually excellent value for money when you compare it to London).

We never had the full afternoon tea because we had reservations for Inventions and like to indulge in there :hyper: but I don't remember the price of the scones with jam and clotted cream being extortionate... We never actually saw a menu with them on but I guessed they would serve them if they offered them for afternoon tea so I asked a waiter if we could just buy the scones and they happily brought them out for us (as shown in the pictures above). princess:

I've seen a menu before, I think I might have done a search on here for afternoon tea and found it through that. Search is disabled at the moment so I can't have a look.
